The starting point of this itinerary is the church of S. Rocco and it follows the carriage road behind the church up to a fork in the road. Keep left and take the muletrack that climbs up along thirteen bends. At the road fork keep left to reach the first houses of Cantone Zenoni of Valmaggiore. Turn right and after about 100 metres take a path that leads to Cantone dei Capi. After leaving the inhabited area, cross east the adjacent field, pass the brook and the road will lead back up the woods. Follow the track up to a fork in the road: the itinerary continues left on a steep slope until it comes out on the dirt road, under the peak of Monte S. Grato.
